FATHER Christmas has got a brand new post box for children in Melksham to post their letters to him this year.
The post box will be in Melksham Town Hall foyer from Monday 14th November, for children to post their Christmas wish letters to Santa Claus before he comes to town in December.
Letters should be addressed to Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ and include a self-addressed envelope with a stamp so Father Christmas can write back. The letters will be collected at the Christmas fayre on Saturday 3rd December.
The new wooden post box was created by Melksham Christmas Lights volunteer Peter Reynolds.
The town hall’s Lorraine McRandle said, “Thank you to Peter for kindly building and donating the special Christmas post box.”
Letters can be dropped off at the town hall during the following hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, and Friday 9am-4.30pm.
