On September 2nd Probus members met for their monthly lunch at The Kings Arms Hotel.
Their guest speaker, Mr. Michael Pearce, gave a comprehensive presentation on English apples, stating that there are in fact one thousand varieties and that 2014 was a good year for all apple growers.
Mr. Rex Trollope has agreed to take on the job of Treasurer from October onwards.
The Annual Dinner will take place on November 27th and the choice of menu will be available at the lunch on October 7th.
