The following members have today signed, a Requisition which is required to call the meeting: Cllrs Terry Chivers Ind, Jeff Osborn Ind, Helen Osborn Ind, Ernie Clark Ind, John Walsh Labour, Ricky Rogers leader of Labour Group, Ian Tomes Labour, Trevor Carbin, Lib Dem, Ian West, Lib Dem, Brian Dalton, Lib Dem.
Cllr Terry Chivers said, “It’s clear that we are getting more and more support by the day to try and reverse this decision. There are splits appearing in the Conservative group on the council, and it’s clear that some members of the Conservative group are uncomfortable about the increases, which see the Cabinet receive increases of up to 37%. I would encourage members of the public to contact their local councillor to ask them to support our motion.”
