THIS September, Queensway Chapel camera club will be celebrating their first anniversary.
Martin Brown and David Darby, who set up the camera club for Melksham, is inviting anyone who is interested in photography to come along and join the club.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, the club will provide an opportunity to learn more, and includes indoor talks, practical sessions, as well as site visits.
Martin and David said, “Those that have been coming along have really enjoyed it. One person said to us that they are learnt more in two hours than a lifetime of fiddling with his camera.
“In our meeting last Thursday, we went to Caen Hill Locks to capture views of the locks and the setting sun, followed by socialising in a local pub on the way home.”
The next meeting is Thursday 8th August, with following meetings every second Thursday of the month: 12th September, 10th October, 14th November, 12th December and 9th January from 7.30pm-9.30pm at Queensway Chapel in Pembroke Road, Melksham SN12 7NB.
