MELKSHAM Rugby Football Club has rescheduled their sportsman’s dinner, with special guest former England and Bath legend, David Trick, for September.
The evening, originally planned for July, will take place on Friday 22nd September. The dinner has been organised to raise money for the club’s new facility. David Trick will be welcomed as the guest speaker for the evening.
Better known as ‘Tricky’, David represented England at every level from under-16s through to international, and joined Bath RFC in 1978 whilst still at school. He played almost 300 games for the club, scoring 191 tries.
Tricky toured Argentina and South Africa with the England team and played 12 games, scoring 11 tries, between 1980 and 1986.
The sportsman’s dinner is on Friday 22nd September. Tickets are limited for the three-course meal, costing £30 each. They can be purchased from Mark Simmons or Richard Jones by calling 07926 929858.
