THE Base Salon, in Bowerhill, is re-launching under new management and is keen to showcase the variety of treatments they offer with a re-launch evening on Friday 25th January.
The Base Salon, located above Tesco Express on Blenheim Park, Bowerhill, has been running for 8 years with current owner, Steph Wiltshire, taking over in September 2018.
With 10 team members trained in hair, beauty and massage, the friendly atmosphere and spacious salon is a great way to treat yourself to a pamper. The salon boasts six hairdressing stations, two nail technicians and separate massage and beauty rooms, all with a relaxed, clean environment.
Beauty treatments that are available include acrylic and gel nails, as well as shellac and gelaze, waxing, eyelash and eyebrow tinting and eyelash extensions. Hair treatments include cuts, blowdrys and colour treatments, and massage treatments such as Thai, foot reflexology, aromatherapy, sports and hot compress. New to 2019, The Base has introduced male barbering with trained and experienced barber, Stacey. She will be on hand to provide cuts for men and boys as well as facial hair trimming, and shaving. No appointment necessary, but can be made for those who are on a tight schedule.
When asked why she wanted to take over the salon, owner Steph Wiltshire said, “I currently run a wedding decoration business called Aztec Venue Decorations and thought the two would go hand in hand. When customers approach me for their wedding, I can refer them to the salon for their hair and beauty needs for the big day!”
The re-launch evening on Friday 25th January from 6-9pm will give returning and new customers the chance to see the services the salon provides, talk to the team about their individual needs, make use of the on-the-night offers and discounts and enjoy a welcome drink and nibbles.

Hairdressers Molly and Emma will be offering a £25 cut and blow dry.
Trained barber, Stacey will be offering male hair cuts from just £6.
Nail technician Kristina will be offering gel polish for £18 and £5 off a new set of acrylics.
