Children from a local primary school celebrated community and creativity when they took part in a county-wide dance festival in Bath last month.
Pupils from St George’s C of E Primary School in Semington took to the stage at the West Wiltshire Dance Festival, held at the Bath Forum last month.
Pupil services officer Leanna Gardner said, “Our KS2 children who signed up for Dance Club for the previous 2 terms had an unforgettable day. Joining schools from across the county, they performed with confidence, energy, and a wonderful sense of togetherness that made us incredibly proud.
“Once at the Forum, our pupils represented the school beautifully – both on and off the stage. They danced with enthusiasm, supported one another and embraced the chance to be part of a wider celebration of creativity and community.
“It was a day of joy, confidence-building and shared achievement. A huge well done to all our performers and thank you to the staff and families who helped make the experience so special.
“A very special thank you goes to Miss Richens, who dedicated her own time to running the club and choreographing the fantastic dance that took the children to the festival. We’re already excited to take part again next year.”
