Last week Shaw & Whitley Pre-School introduced the children to the world of science.
There were lots of different activities going on giving the children a glimpse of the excitement of science. These included making rockets, exploring fossils with magnifying glasses, discovering which items would stick to our magnets, dancing raisin experiment, looking at force and movement with guttering pipes, building a Fizz Inflator using a balloon, seeing what happens when you mix skittles and water and as a finale to the day we made the volcano’s we had built and painted earlier in the week erupt causing great excitement with the children and staff!
