SCOUTS from Melksham and across the county will be auctioning tickets for four-ball games at Chippenham golf course to raise money for their trip to Japan this summer.
Four four-ball games will be available to buy from the Scouts, having been donated by Lowbourne Osteopaths.
The auction will form part of the Scouts’ past 18 months of fundraising for the trip. They will be heading to the 23rd World Scout Jamboree, which is taking place in Kirara-hama, Japan.
The jamboree’s theme is ‘WA: A spirit of Unity’, and embraces many meanings such as unity, harmony, cooperation, friendship and peace.
World Scout Jamborees take place every four years, and are an amazing experience. Scouts aged between 14 and 18 will gather from all over the world to take part in a fortnight of exciting activities, making friends and learning about different cultures. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience, and one that they will never forget.
Lowbourne Osteopaths have donated four sets of four ball games at Chippenham golf course to help the Scouts with their fundraising.
If you are interested in golf and would like to make a donation to the scouts for these tickets, the highest bidders will win.
Call Lowbourne Osteopaths on 01225 704883 to make an offer on the tickets.
