ST. GEORGE’S School in Semington is on the look-out for a new headteacher as the school aims to gain some stability.
Gordon Campbell is currently the headteacher at the school having been seconded into the role since January this year. His term ends in August prompting the chair of governors at the school, Lynn Cook, to announce that the position will be advertised.
Lynn said, “Mr Campbell is seconded to us until 31st August and is doing a fantastic job leading our school. It is important that we seek to gain some stability in our leadership and an advert will be going out shortly for the permanent post from September.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and confidence during a period of change that we have seen over the last few months at St. George’s School. We are committed to securing the right headteacher that our children deserve.”
