Residents are being encouraged to shop locally this Christmas and support businesses in the town to boost the local economy.
The town’s mayor, Saffi Rabey, is urging people to support Melksham, from Christmas shopping to eating out, helping the local economy thrive.
From buying Christmas cards, toys, home décor, plants, perfume, locally distilled alcohol, or handmade gifts, Melksham’s traders offer a wide range of items for everyone.
Cllr Saffi Rabey said, “Melksham has got so much to offer this Christmas, from cracking little shops to cosy cafés, brilliant bars and tasty restaurants. These local gems make our town what it is, so let’s give them a boost.
“Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, picking up a pressie or heading out for a festive meal, every bit spent locally keeps Melksham buzzing. Let’s make this Christmas one to remember: shop local, eat local, and keep our community thriving.”
