LITTLEBROOK Courtyard shopowners are refusing to let vandals ruin their Christmas celebrations.
After receiving many compliments from the community for their Christmas lights display, the group was upset to discover that vandals had damaged and broken some of the display.
CCTV footage from the evening of Tuesday 4th December, shows three people vandalising the Christmas fairy lights hung across the courtyard.
Owner of Ma Maison, Philip Shone said, “I’m sad and disgusted that somebody would do this when we have had so many great compliments about how nice it looks – and how nobody has done this before.
“A lot of the customers that walk through say it is really lovely, and then for some vandal to come through here and destroy it is just heartbreaking – I hope that they are punished.
“However, Christmas will continue here at the Littlebrook Courtyard, thankfully some of the lights are still working. We are busy here in Christmas mood and there will always be a festive welcome for anyone that comes to visit us.”
Anyone with any information about the vandalism can call 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
