
A MINIATURE pony, accompanied by a group of volunteers, took to the streets of Melksham last weekend to raise money and awareness for the animal charity Brooke.
14-year-old Mini Fat Pony, who is also known as Mrs Small, was led around the town centre by long-term volunteers Pat Girdler from Westbury, Roger Challoner Green and Frances Green from Trowbridge, delighting shoppers and visitors.
Petra Ingram, chief executive of Brooke who brought the immaculately groomed pony said, “Charities like this rely on their volunteers. We are glad to have dedicated and long-serving volunteers like Pat, Roger and Frances here at Brooke”
