THE White Hart in Atworth is accepting donations for Melksham Food bank this weekend.
On Saturday 19th January and Sunday 20th January during opening hours, donations of non-perishable food can be made.
Owners of the White Hart, Kirsty and Nathan Cortilla said, “Quite often after Christmas we find ourselves with surplus food – so instead of letting this go to waste, why not donate it to charity?
“So if you’re having a clear out, and want to start the New Year with a ‘new you’, bring your food donations along to the pub this weekend.
“The charity asks that only donations of non-perishable food be made and that the food is within its ‘use-by’ date.”
Melksham Foodbank provides practical short-term help to a person or a family in need. For more information about Melksham Foodbank visit the website: www.melkshamfoodbank. org.uk
