Happy Circle Day Centre which meets every Monday at Rowley Place, held its annual Coffee Morning and Bring and Buy Sale on Monday 20th October.
This year it was supported by staff Emma Reed and Claire Corden, community life champions from Melksham ASDA. The club raised over £460 which will go towards funding Christmas and New Year activities for members.
Win Rose reported. “They raised just over £450 and are very grateful for all the help they received, both from members of the public, their volunteers and from eight local firms who sent gifts, all of which were in the raffle. Any goods left over were taken to the new charity shop in the town, Brainwave.
“The group have a new organiser, Polly Andrews, who is very popular with everyone, and their members really appreciate all the hard work that goes into running the group.”
