Corsham and Colerne Military Wives will be performing the last of the series ‘Sounds in Shaw’ concerts, to raise money for Christ Church, Shaw.
The concert will take place on Saturday 23rd February at Christ Church Shaw, starting at 7.30pm.
Organisers say, “The military wives’ choirs were set up a few years ago to bring women in the military community closer together through song. There are now over 70 military wives’ choirs nationwide (plus at UK military bases abroad) with over 2,000 participants (not all of them female).
“For our concert, the wives will be singing a variety of music including modern and classic songs, with a mix of poignancy and remembrance for those serving in the armed forces. This will be an inspiring and uplifting end to our season of concerts.”
