A school fete brought together families and residents earlier this month for fun activities and refreshments, raising funds for Forest and Sandridge Primary School.
Held on Saturday 13th September at the school, the event was organised by the Parent Teacher Association, Forest Friends, and featured children’s games, fairground rides, glitter tattoos, a braid bar, a Stitch meet-and-greet, a tombola, and refreshments from local vendors including Roc and Floss Coffee and Evie’s Mac and Cheese.
Deputy headteacher James Mead said, “We are incredibly grateful to all the parents, the local community and especially our amazing PTA, Forest Friends, for their hard work in organising and running the event. Their support and generosity helped raise valuable funds that will go directly towards enhancing the school experience for our children at Forest.”
