Waitrose has been nominated Melksham’s Best Looking Business for Spring 2016.
The seasonal award was created by Melksham Town Team to recognise businesses that make a special effort in their displays and general appearance which contribute to making Melksham a lovely town to visit. Hundreds of people nominate businesses throughout the year, and the winner is presented with the cup and certificate each season.
Waitrose scooped the majority of nominations this time, with the Samovar in second place and the Bear in third. One of the nominations for Waitrose stated, ‘The new seating area at Waitrose has made such a lovely difference, the flowers are lovely and we always receive a warm welcome from staff there.’
Manager of Waitrose, Chris Smith said, “The branch is very pleased to have been voted Best Looking Business in Melksham. The partners in Waitrose aim to give customers compelling reasons to shop with us, and this award is a reflection of their hard work.”
Other businesses to receive nominations this time were Goughs solicitors, Total Carpets, the Cobbler’s Bench and LA Diner.
Nominations are now being taken for the Summer Best Looking Business Award which will be presented in August. To nominate a business email melkshamtownteam@gmail.com or text your nomination to 07865 065925.
