LOCAL Melksham-based mental health charity Wiltshire Mind will be selling Christmas cards and 2016 calendars to raise money to support their work across Wiltshire.
Chief executive Carolyn Beale said, “We’re really excited about the launch of our cards and calendars. The photos were taken by members of six support groups across Wiltshire and they’re all brilliant.
“This is a great project which has encouraged our members to go out and take photos in their communities; these have now been used to produce the calendars and Christmas cards which will in turn raise funds to continue the groups. The project is kindly sponsored by Nixon and Shaw opticians, so all the money raised will go directly back into helping run the services we provide.
“The calendars and Christmas cards are available to buy from the Wiltshire Mind office in Melksham High Street, from the Wiltshire Mind charity shop in Church Street and are also available at Nixon and Shaw in the High Street. Calendars cost £4 and the cards cost £2.50 per pack.
