MELKSHAM Community Meals have been keeping in contact with users with monthly surprises.
Sue Mortimer said, “This month’s surprise was delivery of a cream tea. The cooks and volunteers made 200 scones in total, a big thank you to everyone for making them.
“The cream and jam were donated by Asda, a big, big thank you to Asda Melksham for helping us make the cream teas a huge success.
“Asda community champion Jacqui Webster has been brilliant in keeping in touch, offering help without us even having to ask A big thank you to our delivery people Paul, Sally and the girls, Pauline, June, Kerry, Patsy, Elvy, Chris and Gerald and Sue.
“We are all missing the social side of the meals and look forward to finding a new home where we can all meet up again once we are the other side of the pandemic. We cannot wait.”
