Melksham Rotary members are holding a Thai dinner evening to benefit projects run by Pattaya Rotary Club in Thailand.
Sue Ashcroft lives in Thailand and is a member of the Pattaya Rotary Club, but she is also a regular visitor to Melksham in the rainy season. Ahead of Sue’s return visit this month, she suggested that she could work with the club to arrange a Thai meal fund raiser.
Sue said “We will offer 5 or 6 different dishes, where everyone can help themselves and with big bowls of rice, buffet style. There would be some which will be a little spicy and some with no spice, to cater for everyone. This is also an opportunity to find out a bit more about Melksham Rotary and the things that we do.”
The ArtHouse café, Melksham will be the venue for the evening on Tuesday 24th April at 7.15, tickets must be reserved in advance and are £15, there will also be a raffle. To book your place please contact Janet Relfe on 07796 611219.
