THE Beeches Veterinary Clinic has appointed a new practice manager as Jill Warner, current manager, takes early retirement.
Jill Warner has been working at The Beeches Veterinary Clinic since its inception in July 2006 when she opened it with her husband, Trevor Warner. Now, taking early retirement, she has passed on the reigns to Ellen Burch who has been appointed as the new practice manager.
Jill said, “I will miss all the staff and clients here. However, it’s really nice to pass it on to Ellen. Even the customers have said that it’s nice we are keeping the practice within the family as Ellen has been with us for over eight years. It’s good that the customers will continue to see a friendly face.”
Ellen will take over from Jill and work alongside Trevor Warner, the owner and head vet running the practice. She said, “I’m very excited for the opportunity and career progression. I joined here as a student and now I’m a qualified registered nurse. To naturally progress into practice manager is great considering I started my career here.”
The Beeches has an exciting 2018 ahead for Ellen and the team as the centre will be adding an extension, due to be completed within the year. This will bring new consulting rooms where nurses can hold clinics and generally more space in the practice.
