COMEDY fans in Melksham still have a chance to see star Seann Walsh at the Assembly Hall as a small batch of tickets are still available.
Star of Channel 4’s ‘Virtually Famous’ and ‘Stand Up for the Week’ and BBC1’s ‘Live At The Apollo’, Seann Walsh brings his brand new show ‘Seann 28’ to Melksham on Thursday 9th April as part of his 2015 nationwide tour.
Seann will be supported on the evening by up and coming comedian Mark Simmons. Seann is one of a number of top comedians coming to Melksham over the next few weeks with Andy Parsons due on Friday 15th May and Des O’Connor on Friday 19th June.
Assembly Hall manager Lorna Howard said, “It’s great to be able to play host to Seann at Melksham.
“This is further proof that we have the venue and audience to attract high profile entertainers to perform live at Melksham. We’re delighted that Seann is bringing his 2015 tour to the assembly hall and we look forward to another fantastic night of comedy on Thursday 9th April.
“Seann is a charming and charismatic natural born observational storyteller, and one of the most frighteningly precocious talents to emerge from the UK comedy circuit in years.
“Within two years of his first comedy performance, Seann was the winner of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year; Chortle Best Breakthrough Act Nominee 2010; and Chortle Best Compere Nominee 2011.
“Having reached the age of 28 Seann is on tour with his aptly named new show ’28’ where he is now living with his girlfriend, and she is trying to sort him out!”
Tickets, priced £14, are available from Melksham Assembly Hall, telephone 01225 709887 or the Tourist Information Centre 01225 707424. Further information about the events and other events coming up can be found on www.melkshamassemblyhall.com
