Tops enter bright new era after opening of new beauty section and refurbishment

TOPS Hair Salon has had a makeover of its own after an extensive refurbishment and the introduction of a new  beauty section.  

The popular salon which has been in Melksham for 35 years has had its first facelift in almost ten years as they have modernised the salon area, as well as introducing a large beauty section and employing beautician Natalie Pedley.

The impact of the refurbishment is immediately noticeable as you enter the salon with the reception area completely transformed, making the salon more welcoming, as well as creating space for a new increased product section and more spacious waiting area.

Elsewhere in the salon the middle section has been completely transformed with a darkened area with wash basins. As part of the modernisation of this area the lighting has been made adjustable to ensure good visibility when colouring hair.

The rear of the salon has also been refurbished and transformed from an empty space into a beauty section where treatments include  nails – manicures and pedicures using OPI, waxing using Lycon wax and eyelash and eyebrow tinting.

Tops’ manager Vic Stevens said, “We felt it was about time to have a refurb and bring the place up-to-date. We have been planning a beauty section for a while and it made sense to do it all in one go.

“We are really pleased with how it all looks now and it is more suited to the professional image and attitude we have. Customers have been very impressed and all we have had so far is positive feedback.  We are really pleased to have Natalie join us; she is a great beautician and she is fully trained not only in beauty, but also specifically in the products we will be using, so clients can be assured that they have getting a high quality service.”
