MELKSHAM’S Tourist Information Centre is open again and ready for business!
The team say, “Hooray! The Tourist Information Centre in Church Street is now well and truly up and running again, with, apart from the very charming and helpful volunteers who have returned to the fold, all the usual elements available.
“We sell stamps, honey, souvenirs, post cards – AND – books galore to suit all tastes, and jigsaw puzzles galore to suit all ages and abilities.
“Coach company brochures are also available to whet the appetite for that tantalising prospect of a trip to somewhere different!
“More good news. The Thursday Shoppers Bus is now back in business, albeit with reduced numbers for the time being, so book early and it is hoped to begin the Days Out programme very shortly.
“Sadly, but they are necessary, masks are a must in the centre, and of course, social distancing is operating, but you will still receive a warm-hearted welcome – if a little muffled!
“We look forward to seeing you and hope you have managed to keep well, safe and smiling during the last few months.”
