TRANSWILTS has launched a free app which features live Wiltshire train stations’ departure information directly to your phone.
Some of the features include a menu station list where you can select your desired station, or simply select your home station and it will display immediately as you open the app with no selection required. You can also set your favourite stations for easy use.
TransWilts said, “This free app has been designed locally with Wiltshire’s and our TransWilts train users in mind. We’re bringing you GWR’s latest and up-to-date departure information fast and directly to your phone. We want to help you take the hassle out of your journey.
“Now you can check if your train is on time, or in worse case cancelled, before you leave home. You can also check where your train is, when it is due and what platform it arrives on. Your personal train departures screen on your phone, how good is that!”
Cancelled trains, rail replacement services and potential service disruptions will all feature in the app to allow the smoothest of journeys around Wiltshire. You can download the app from Apple Store, Google Play or via their website www.transwilts.org.
