Triplets from Holt have completed their second ‘Tripathlon’ challenge to raise funds for Children in Need.
Beau, Albie and Judie Howland, aged eight, once again took on the triathlon-inspired challenge after completing their first one last year.
The ‘Tripathlon’ is split across the three children, with each taking on a different sport, supported by their two mums, Chloe and Amy.
Beau swam 70 lengths in 51 minutes, Albie cycled 22 kilometres in one hour 35 minutes, and Judie ran 11 kilometres in one hour 24 minutes.
This year, their target was £500. However, they have already exceeded that, raising over £700 for the UK charity, which supports disadvantaged children and young people across the country.
The triplets undertook the challenge last year after being inspired by watching TV and radio personality Paddy McGuinness complete an endurance cycling challenge for Children in Need.
Their mums, Chloe and Amy, said, “We simply couldn’t be prouder of the children’s achievement. They have been so dedicated to the training and a complete inspiration. To smash their individual targets as well was just the icing on the cake.”
