Wiltshire Council is currently working in partnership with England Netball to deliver Walking Netball sessions across the county.
Walking Netball involves delivering the traditional game at walking pace, making sessions more accessible and creating a fun and social sporting opportunity.
Walking Netball is suitable for adults of all ages and abilities including individuals who have stopped playing due to injury, those who have never played the game or older people looking to increase their activity levels.
Sessions also provide a great way to socialise with other like-minded individuals and to meet new friends whilst also offering participants the opportunity to be physically active and improve their health and fitness.
Walking Netball sessions take place Thursdays 9:45-10:45am at Christie Miller Sports Centre on the indoor courts and cost £3 per session. Participants are also encouraged to join a weekly cup of tea and catch up afterwards.
