THE Pig and Whistle pub has live music, a bike meet, its charity breakfast, and a ‘Swap Shop’, all coming up in the weeks ahead.
On Saturday 11th June there will be live music with Legacy from 9pm to 11pm.
The pub says, “Come and join us for another Saturday Night Gig with great live music from local band Legacy! Legacy is a four piece band from West Wiltshire who play guitar-driven rock covers. Top class female vocalist backed by three vastly experienced musicians.”
On Thursday 16th June, the pub is hosting its monthly bike meet for all 2 wheeler enthusiasts, from 7pm to 9pm. The bike meet is held on the third Thursday of each month.

On Saturday 18th June, the pub is holding its charity breakfast club, from 9.30am to 2pm.
“Throughout the year we hold charity breakfast clubs to raise money and awareness for local groups,” says the pub. “We will also have our trolley open for collecting any non-perishable goods to pass on to the local food bank. Tea and coffee is available for a donation. So join us for a full English or just a breakfast bap (veggie and kids’ options available) and a catch up.”
Also on Saturday 18th June it’s Swap Shop for anyone having a spring clear out, from 10am to 2pm.
“Having a spring clear out?” asks the pub. “Then come along to our swap it shop! Bring along all your unwanted clothing, shoes and accessories. Swap with another, or donate to our local hospice! Swap shop items include clothing and shoes – men’s, women’s and kids’ – of all sizes.”
For Father’s Day on Sunday 19th June, there is live music with Dan Webb, from 4.30pm to 7pm. The local musician plays acoustic covers of rock and pop classics.
On Sunday 26th June, there is live music from Pete Holden, from 4.30pm to 7pm.
The pub says, “Pete Holden is a local musician bringing you all the classic guitar greats from the ‘60s to present day.”
