MELKSHAM Family of Churches is gearing up for its annual children’s holiday club during August.
John Firth says, “It’s Bless Melksham Holiday Club time again, an exciting experience for Melksham children. For the past few years, a team from many of Melksham’s churches has provided a week of songs, stories, games, drama, crafts and activities for children aged 5-11.
“Past clubs have included Mega Makers and Rocky’s Plaice, but last year’s club, based on the highly engaging Guardians of Ancora game app, was such a success that Scripture Union have brought out a sequel – Guardians of Ancora Treasure Seekers.
“The club will be held at Queensway Chapel each morning from 10.00am-12.30pm from Monday 7th August to Friday 11th August. At the end of Friday’s session parents and carers will share in their children’s adventures in finding the keys to the Treasure of the lost Saga and will have lunch with all the Treasure Seekers and the zany characters in Ancora.
“The cost of the club is £5 per child for the week or £10 per family for the week. There is no need to register ahead of time, just come along at 10.00am on Monday 7th August.
