Whitehall Garden Centre raised over £3,000 for local and national charities over the festive period.
Their Christmas wishing wells welcomed customers as they arrived in both the Lacock and Whitchurch sites and took centre stage in the award winning Christmas displays.
With the generous donations from their customers, Whitehall Garden Centre were able to continue supporting The Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Dorothy House Hospice, The British Heart Foundation and The Children’s Hospice as well as their new charity, The Chris Self Memorial Fund (which aims to support clubs and community organisations in the parish of Lacock). This was set up in memory of the company’s late Chairman; Chris Self.
Managing Director Peter Self said, ‘We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support and generosity and hope the money raised will make a big difference.”
Whitehall Garden Centre, a 6th generation family business since 1894, also donated over £6,000 to independent fundraising and events across the South West last year. They aim to continue supporting the community and charitable causes through 2015.
