COULD you work with young people? Would you like a role in leisure? How about working in highways and transport? What about providing care for people who have just left hospital and needing to gain their independence again?
On Thursday 26th January, Wiltshire Council will hold a careers fair in the Atrium at County Hall in Trowbridge – offering insight into a range of different roles across the council. The fair, which is being held from 2pm to 6pm, will have representatives from 22 areas of the council on hand to showcase the breadth of opportunities available.
The event is open to all and will be a chance for people to ask about apprenticeships, work experience, flexible working opportunities, full and part-time roles and gain CV advice. The careers fair will also take opportunities a step further, as they will conduct mock interviews to help people prepare for work.
For those interested in support work in areas including reablement, Wiltshire Support at Home, day and respite, and the Intensive and Outreach Enablement Teams, there will also be interview slots available. People can apply for these jobs online at https:// jobs.wiltshire.gov.uk/ and book an interview slot or email workexperience@wiltshire.gov.uk
