Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident whereby a member of the public was struck by a pellet fired from what is believed to be a ‘BB gun’ whilst he was walking along the High Street in Melksham at approximately 5.30pm on Thursday 3rd September.
The air gun is believed to have been fired from a small black car which was being driven along the High Street from the Lowbourne roundabout towards the Market Place.
