Women’s rugby in Melksham will mark International Women’s Day with two showcase games at Oakfields.
The matches will take place on Sunday 8th March and will feature Melksham’s ladies’ team and the club’s girls’ section.
Melksham Ladies will take on Drybrook Ladies, while the Under-12 Fawns will face Royal Wootton Bassett in a celebration of women’s and girls’ rugby at the club.
Melksham Ladies Head Coach, Hannah Berrely, said, “We are really looking forward to playing on International Women’s Day at our club, made all the more special having the Fawns girls teams playing alongside us. We want to invite as many women as possible to come and support our ladies as we showcase women in sport in Melksham!”
