Melksham South West in Bloom is hosting a virtual AGM meeting next month – and the whole community is invited!
The group will be reflecting on the highlights of the past year and looking ahead to next year and what they have planned. They will also be encouraging and inviting new volunteers to join the group.
They will also welcome guest speaker, Miriam Zaccarelli, who is the Melksham Town Council community engagement officer, who will talk about the annual Melksham in Bloom competition.
“At the AGM, there will be a re-election of the group’s steering committee – the roles include chair, vice chair, secretary, and treasurer.
The group says, “If you are interested in standing for election or you know someone who is, please nominate yourself, or them (with their prior consent).
“Please send your nominations to: swibmelksham@ gmail.com to be received by 7pm on Friday 6th November please. No new nominations will be accepted on the night.”
