MELKSHAM 60+ club welcomed back their oldest member Gwen Farr, who reached her 100th birthday during lockdown.
The club presented her with flowers and champagne to celebrate her return and reaching such a milestone, and wishes to thank Waitrose Melksham for their support with the gifts.
The club is now back at the Riverside club with attendances of 30+ and will be moving to new premises at Queensway Chapel from 7th September, every Tuesday from 1:45-4pm.
The club started in 1949 at the Assembly Hall before moving to the Riverside club in 2006 where it has remained for the past 15 years and members are now looking forward to the next chapter of the club’s history at Queensway.
