MELKSHAM Rock & Roll Club will celebrate its 15th anniversary next weekend with a performance from The Delray Rockets.
On Saturday 25th February the three-piece rockabilly band will perform at Melksham Assembly Hall to celebrate a decade and a half of the town’s club.
The Delray Rockets play a mixture of lesser known covers and original material in an electric, high-energy show, with twists and turns and a full powered stage show.
The gig will mark 15 years since the rock and roll club was started in 2002 by Geoff Mitcham and Rich; Geoff still runs the monthly dances.
DJ Cockney Rebel will also perform on the night and A&J’s Vintage and Retro Stall and Foottappin’ Records will be there.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10 each; they are available on the door or from Melksham Assembly Hall on 01225 709887. Find out more about the club on Facebook or at www.melkshamrockandroll.co.uk
