CURVES in Avonside, Melksham, has an array of events planned for October – all to raise money to help fight breast cancer.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a worldwide annual campaign involving thousands of organisations, to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research. Curves, the fitness centre for just women has a jam-packed schedule of events throughout October.
Manager Sue Armstrong said, “October is a great month to join us at Curves Melksham because not only are you going to get fitter and healthier, you are also helping raise money for charity.
“We have so many exciting events planned including a Ladies Day on 2nd October with Pink Boutique selling wonderful products and 10% of sales will be donated to Breast Cancer Care. There will be a raffle throughout the month with fantastic prizes to be won.”
Curves is also waiving all service fees in October when customers sign up. In return, a donation of £20 is recommended to Breast Cancer Care.
