ART on display in the ArtHouse Café for the month of September comes courtesy of Omniart Group.
The work of the group will be on display in the Market Place cafe until Saturday 29th September and are available for purchase.
About the artists, the group says, “Mike Brimson is a retired engineer who enjoys painting in watercolours and oils, and is a great admirer of Turner.
“Frances Brimson is a retired administrator who has taken up painting later in life. She also enjoys using watercolours and acrylic.
“Roger Marsh returned to college to learn to draw and paint after a career as a psychotherapist. This greatly enhanced his perception and enjoyment of the world.
“Brian Bennett and his wife owned and ran a design and print company but since he retired, Brian has spent time exploring painting techniques and styles especially using colour.
“Dorothy Hague first started painting in oils but gradually changed to acrylics. She has a great love of Africa and wants to convey the power of the big five animals there, as well as the power and patterns of tigers.”
