Melksham Town Christmas Fayre and lights switch-on will take place on Saturday 1st December from 2pm to 5pm, with Melksham Christmas fireworks display also lighting up the skies.
Father Christmas will officially open the Christmas Fayre.
Organisers of the event say, “Melksham Town Christmas Fayre has always been a great success and we would like it to continue, so please help us by continuing to support your local Christmas Fayre.
“After 21 glorious years, Jean Harris has decided to step down from her role as organiser of the fayre. We would like to send our sincere thanks for all she has done and we send our best wishes to Jean.
“Jean will be passing her role over to Jack Land. Jack has been involved with Melksham town community events for many years and is always eager to support his local home community.
