LIVERPOOL FC legend, Bruce Grobbelaar, will be the guest speaker at Melksham Town FC’s sportsman dinner in October.
Goalkeeper Bruce is best known for his time at Anfield, playing for Liverpool from 1981 to 1994.
Melksham Town FC’s chairman, Darren Perrin says, “We have been very fortunate to get the Liverpool legend Bruce Grobbelaar to be the guest speaker.
“He is a top guest speaker and has loads of stories about his football career and some amazing insights into what went on!
“We also have Phil King, a comedian, who will compere the evening, which also includes a two-course meal.
“The cost is £450 for a table of 10 or £45 individually. Demand is already very high and we know it will be a sell-out very quickly – it will have to be done on a first-come first-served basis.”
The sportsman dinner will be held on Wednesday 17th October in the Sky Bar at Oakfields. Contact the club for more information and for tickets.
