IT can be so easy to lose things! Melksham Messy Church in January explored the story of Mary and Joseph losing Jesus when he was a child and finding him teaching in the temple.
Hannah of Melksham Messy Church said, “We enjoyed building a temple from bricks, making prayer scrolls, tasty peppermint creams, a growth chart and body mural. The children also loved writing in the sand and taking part in our Messy science activity, experimenting with water, oil and food colouring.
“It was a pleasure to welcome our Mayor, Adrienne Westbrook to Messy Church and use our Messy activities to remember the story of Jesus in the temple and how Jesus grew up, just like us!
“Our next Messy Church is on Sunday 24th February from 4-5.30pm at Forest and Sandridge School. Come along for a story, music and worship, games, craft and activities and a meal!”
