Melksham were defeated away from home at Warminster 45-10.
Melksham were stunned by three quick opening quarter tries from the pacey Warminster backs and failed to get their own game going.
The scoring continued to flow for the home team as the visitors’ injuries, including captain David Dyke, compounded their woes. Points from the boot of Callum Hurn and a try from Luke Cador, couldn’t inspire a fight back to stem the strong running game from the home team, running in seven tries to end convincing winners.
