A NEW free weekly baby and toddler group is set to start at Melksham United Church.
Local volunteers have set up the group which is called ‘Little Gems’ and will commence on Thursday 6th November. It will then be held every Thursday from 10.00am-11.30am.
The group includes free play, crafts, snacks and singing as well as teas and coffees for adults. It is open to anyone with pre-school children to look after. Volunteer Natalie Willis said, “Our opening event will be a little bit extra special and we are hoping to see lots of people there. We felt there was a lack of groups for people with pre-school children on a Thursday and hope that being in the centre of town it will be easy for most people to get to. We will have lots of new equipment and toys/books and are looking forward to it being a great success! It also has the added bonus of being free!”
