2385 (Melksham) Squadron ATC visited RAF Bomber Command Memorial in London on Sunday 5th May, .
They report, “After an introduction to the history and significance of Bomber Commands’ role in WW2 from OC 2385 Squadron, a minute’s silence was held with a wreath laid on behalf of the whole squadron. This was part of a wider visit to the capital with a later visit to the RAF Club where the squadron’s new badge was handed over for instatement in their collection.
“Melksham Squadron is open to cadets aged 12-19 (must be in school year 8 or older) and offers adventurous activities for an air- minded youth. We are also looking to increase our staff and volunteer numbers. If interested in either opportunity, please contact the OC Flt Lt G McKay at oc.2385@aircadets.org.”
