Bowerhill Residents Action Group (BRAG) won a level 5 ‘Outstanding’ award in the ‘Its Your Neighbourhood’ category for its picnic area in Bowerhill next to the Kennet and Avon Canal, at the recent South West In Bloom presentation day in Dartmouth.
BRAG say, “A level 5 award is the highest we can win and means that the picnic area scored at least 85 marks out of 100. This is the second successive year that we have won the top award and credit is due to the dedicated band of BRAG volunteers who give their time freely to maintain the area and make it the success it is.
“Next year we will try to achieve a hat trick of wins.”
