The autumn season of fortnightly lunchtime recitals at the Rachel Fowler Centre begins on Thursday 19th September and the first performers will be ‘Sloejam’ a folk group that plays Americana, Old Tyne and Bluegrass music.
Organisers say, “There are many members playing many instruments and they are guaranteed to have you smiling, clapping and toe-tapping along with them.
“The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45minutes. There is no charge but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always welcomed. Light refreshments are available from noon.”
