The spring season of Lunchtime Recitals begins on Thursday the 20th of February.
Organisers say, “Getting us off to a flying start will be that popular folk group “Curlew’s Cry”. Featuring Phil Deverall on many instruments, Carmen Tunney on viola and Debbie Warren on piano, they will provide a very lively start to our run of recitals.
“Two weeks later we have the talented music department of Stonar School, singing and playing for us all under the baton of Mr Nick Goodall, their dedicated head of music.
“The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45minutes. There is no charge but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always welcomed. Light refreshments are available from noon.
“Do come along for an enjoyable and free concert.”
