Blenheim House Care Home has launched a new, all-weather indoor visiting room.
They report, “It is a beautifully decorated, private and safe space to ensure families and friends will always be able to stay safely connected with their loved ones, in person, whatever the future may bring. What better way to officially cut the ribbon and open our visiting room than with a birthday celebration for our lovely resident Ann, as she turned 84 years young!
“Our visiting room enables families to catch up, share stories and talk together using a sophisticated audio system and whilst relaxing in comfy armchairs.
Mirko Ridolfo, home manager, was excited to share how the unique privacy of the visiting room has enabled families and loved ones to share some wonderful quality time together, “From bringing back the family quiz to playing music and singing, it’s bringing so much joy to everyone here at Blenheim House.”
Chris Guest , the home’s lifestyle and community manager says, ” The lovely visiting room complements our garden visiting areas, The Roses and Lavender, which have been much enjoyed during the recent summer sunshine and not forgetting the daily video calls which have been a huge success in keeping our families connected”
Visits are coordinated by the home’s reception team, with families welcomed to the home by our activities team who also ensure the area is sanitised before and after each visit.
