Melksham’s teenage racing driver, Jack Meakin, confirmed second place with his teammate at the conclusion of the championships for the Britcar Trophy at Donington Park GP.
Jack, aged 18, and his team mate James Black, aged 19, were able to confirm their second place in the Clio Class, as well as being placed 8th out of 59 entrants in the overall championship.
Reflecting on his races this year and looking ahead to next year, Jack said, “2022 has been a very productive year and I’ve learnt a lot. It’s been great to take two race wins and five fastest laps in my first season in the Britcar Championship and I am feeling confident as we look ahead to 2023!”
